Sanest words on the subject I've heard on television in a long while. Seth MacFarlane's "dumb question" is anything but. And I'm not even a fan of his in general.
Ask yourselves, why is so much media and public attention spent on Israel? Whose agendas are really being furthered here? What genocides and human tragedies are ignored in favor of a 60 year old land dispute with no real bearing on most people's lives?
Many in favor of supporting a militant Israel are merely interested in using Israel as a pawn.
Many in favor of criticizing / chastising Israel are thinly veiled anti-semites.
Actual Palestinians and Israelis themselves are largely much more nuanced in their own views and opinions BECAUSE THEY ACTUALLY HAVE TO LIVE THERE.
Also: "Somebody's stolen all our Jews!" cracks me up.
