Gunfire erupted at Tanger Outlets in Glendale Wednesday afternoon, leaving several people hurt and forcing scores of shoppers to be evacuated from the mall.
Police swarmed the area near 95th Avenue and Glendale Avenue after receiving 911 calls about the shooting around 2:40 p.m.
Police said a group of teenage boys confronted a teen boy who was with a woman and young child in the central plaza of the mall.
For reasons that are still under investigation, the argument turned violent and at least one person from each group opened fire on the other.
