A text without context is a pretext.The Bible never once says we are spiritual Jews. The word Israel appears in the New Testament 72 times and always refers to ethnic Israel. We COULD say we are the Israel of God without any problem since we are of Abraham by faith, but even then one must descend from Jacob to be of Israel.
The Bible must be allowed to speak for itself. The Bible tells us that in Christ there is no jew and no Greek. But Christ is all and In all. Col 3:11. We Are Christians but we are Not Spiritual Jews…. And that is Biblical!!
