(30 Oct 1995) Serbo-Croat/Nat
The Bosnian government and Bosnian Serb army have exchanged prisoners at Sarajevo airport.
Nine Bosnian soldiers were released for ten Serbs.
The original deal had been that ten Bosnians would be released for 11 Serbs. But the Serbs refused to release one officer and the Bosnians also decided to retain an additional prisoner.
In the Sarajevo suburb of Drobinja, Serb prisoners of war were put into United Nations armoured personnel carriers and driven to the airport, where they were released.
But the head of the Bosnian government prisoner exchange programme is worried about the future of further transfers.
SOUNDBITE: Serbo-Croat.
The release is part of the ceasefire agreement but I am scared they could be suspended for two reasons. The Serbs have failed to account for thousands of men after the fall of Srebrenica, and also that there are apparently new massive killings of Muslims and new concentration camps in Bosnian Serb held areas in Northern Bosnia.

The Bosnian government prisoners then boarded the A-P-Cs which drove back to Drobinja and where they were given a similarly enthusiastic welcome.
