When we had our pig processed over the winter, we asked the butcher for all of the fat. We've slowly been rendering in down into lard for cooking and other project. The last bag we pulled from the freezer contained a lot of skin - so we figure why not do something useful with this instead of just tossing it in the trash. So we cleaned it up, and tossed in the dehydrator for 4 days, in an attempt to make chew treats for our dogs! Be sure to watch all the day to the end, so see if it worked - Love, Todd & Rachel
