Pogaca is one of our favorite tea time treats in Turkey. All pastry and bakery shops have these in their menu. It is a life saver breakfast pastry for quick breakfast. People stop by these bakery shops on the way to work and students can find them in the school cafeterias.
Homemade one is the best with all natural ingredients and your whole house will smell heavenly.
Ingredients
-for the yeast
1 tbs yeast
1 tsp sugar
1/2 cup lukewarm milk
-for the dough
6.5 cup all purpose flour
3 eggs
1/2 cup sunflower oil (olive oil or safflower oil)
1+ 1/4 cup lukewarm milk
1 tsp salt
1.5 feta cheese (any cheese you like but I recommend salty cheese)
1/4 cup chopped parsley
