---DESCRIPTION---
This is my main video of 4 weeks backpacking in the Philippines. Including Palawan, Bohol and Siargao.
---TRAVEL ITINERARY---
Palawan:
After two days partying in Manila (Z-Hostel) I took a flight to Coron. I got to my hostel (Hop-Hostel) and rented straight a scooter with a friend to explore the island for two days. We found one beautiful beach without tourist called OCAM OCAM Beach. We stopped several times at our way to see the amazing landscape or have conversations with the locals. There are one of the friendliest people in the world and help you with everthing you need. We tried a lot of delicious food.
I spent the next five days with BIG DREAM BOAT MAN, a tour that I booked already few weeks ago (Start + End in Coron). This was one of my best tours so far. Far away from the "Mainstream" daily tours to Kayangan Lake and surroundings they will took you to some very remote places which I can call just Paradise. I didn´t see a lot of tourists during this time. We wen´t to amazing snorkeling spots, caves, beaches, islands and sand bars. We slept on lonely local islands in huts or tents direct in front of the ocean. The food from the team was amazing. I met a lot of great people from all over the world. Free Rum at any time :) Yes, we also visited Kayankan Lake but at a different time when it´s not so crowded.
After this trip I took a flight to El Nido, rented a scooter again and drove direct to Napcan Beach where I stayed in the MAD MONKEY HOSTEL for 4 days. Nacpan beach is one of my favourite, crowded from 10AM - 5 PM and after it´s getting empty and really beautiful. I explored the north of the island by scooter. We went to El Nido for Zip-Lining and Party.
Bohol:
Actually the island with the most tourists of my trip. (Got there by plan and ferry through Puerto Princesa and Cebu). Stayed in different places for 4 days (All good but nothing special). If you want to see any attractions like the Chocolate Hills, Hanging bridges or the Bohol forest, you have to go really early or late in the afternoon. I would recommend to stay one night direct at the Chocolate Hills (There are 2-3 accomodations) and catch the sunrise from there. You can go there by your one and you don´t have to pay for it. During the day you can visit some rice plantations for example. I went also to the adventure park but felt like 10 years to old...
Siargao:
Last 10 days I stayed in Siargao (Flight from Cebu). This is acutally the most chilling island with the best vibe. A surfers paradies but also amazing for non surfers like me. I have never seen so much plam trees before, it doesn´t matter where you are, there are always plamtrees availible. It´s the island for everthing: Surfing, Beaches, Food, Party, Kiting, Scooter trips, cool people,...
It´s not so crowded like El Nido (Think it´s getting more by time). I stayed the most of the time in General Luna (I Love Siargao Hostel). There are also some bad hostels so check the feedback or ask the people.
We took a one day trip to Socorro Island (Sohoton Cove) it´s kind of a lagoon, many green round hills with beautiful water colors.
