With the Human Resource Development Minister Smriti Irani's announcement that all states are against the no detention policy, it's only a matter of time before the policy is revoked and Class X board exams are re-instated. On Agenda, we ask how the new education policy will be framed. We also look at the Allahabad High Court's directive ordering the government servants to send their children to public schools and examine if it will help improve the functioning of the government schools.
