You read that right, this meal is valued at almost $1,000 with everything you saw in this video including sushi, soup, dessert, sake, etc. And even though this was the most expensive meal we have ever had, it was also the best culinary experience of our lives.

Welcome to Sushi Mitsuki located at the Villa Rosa Kempinski in Nairobi Kenya. This small sushi bar is extremely exclusive with it's nine seats and one on one experience with the sushi master. Forget the famous California roll, this is real and authentic Japanese sushi. A sushi restaurant like this in Japan requires reservation months in advance. But here in Nairobi, you should be able to get a seat for your next special occasion. At least until they get the first Michelin Star on the African continent. And I do not say this lightly! We had the chance in the past to dine at a few restaurant owned by Michelin Star chefs like Gordon Ramsay and Nobu Matsuhisa and Sushi Mitsuki in Nairobi is at that same level of excellence.

This was the perfect amount of food and the sake was shared between us three with was the perfect amount.

Yes the price point is outside of most people's reach but the extreme quality of the ingredients, import costs and experience of the chef do come at a price and still with this aside, it is still a fantastic restaurant.
