What gets us out of bed in the morning to come to work after 35 years of owning this company, and I touch briefly on the fact that I enjoy problem solving and helping the customer. But I neglected to talk about my employees. You know, I love my employees. We got 42 employees and their families that depend on us.
And if I'm not successful, they don't pay their mortgages. They don't feed their families, you know? So that's a huge part of why I come to work every single day. To try to make Wilcox feel successful for the employees.
I have to agree, John. We've been doing this a long time, and one of the things that we've had over the years is develop relationships with employees. And when they retire, it doesn't matter. They come to our company picnics every year. If they leave for some reason to do go into another industry, we're constantly in touch with them and our customers are extremely important.
But without our employees, we wouldn't have any customers, and we appreciate everything they do for us, and they're committed to do what we want, which is the best service for everyone out there. And they are constantly doing the best they can to help us, and we really appreciate that.
And that's I guess that's one of the things that keeps us going every day, is getting up and seeing the same employees come in day after day. And we've got quite a few people that have been here a long time. Right. And that's got to say something and we really appreciate that.
