In this video Dave Rothrock and I head to North Pennsylvania in Potter County to fly fish for native brook trout. We started the day filming an instructional video on drop shot nymphing then fished the rest of the day with dry flies catching many natives. Some of the native brook trout we caught were the best either of us have caught in a long time. The trout were feeding aggressively on the surface as a pretty consistent hatch came off. We were using apple caddis, light Hendricksons and some other may flies.
