Launched a Flysurfer Soul 6 m2 on marginal wind (around 7-8 knots) to test its ability to remain stable on zenith without backstall and see how it recovers from the side of the window.
On such winds I noticed that it doesn’t climb up on the side but stalls deep on the power zone so I have to lift it once it is on the center of the wind window.
Impressed to see it sits on 12h nicely and the loops are still powerful even on this lightwind.
I had to pull some depower in order to avoid more backstall. It happens also when the wind is higher. Next I will do a bar lines checks and also a bridle mixer test on the kite as suggested by Flysurfer every 100 flying hours.
