RUSK CAKE (TEATIME SNACK)
Ingredients
• 1/2 Oil or Butter (room temperature)
• 1 Cup Sugar
• 3 Eggs (room temperature)
• 1 Cup All purpose flour (maida)
• 1.5 TeaSp Baking Powder
• 1/2 TeaSp Vanilla Essence
• Pinch of yellow food color
Method
• In a bowl, add oil/butter & sugar. Beat for 1-2 mins.
• Add 1st egg, beat it for 1-2 mins.
• Then 2nd egg, beat it for 1-2 mins.
• Add 3rd egg, beat it for 1-2 mins.
• Add flour & baking powder. Beat until mix well.
• Add Vanilla essence & food color.
• Mix & beat until all combine.
• Take baking pan, put butter paper, grease with butter.
• Add prepared batter & bake it into preheated oven for 45 mins at 175 °C.
• Take out & let cool.
• Make slices & spread on baking tray.
• Bake at 70-80 °C for 1 hr.
• Take out & serve.
