Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday launched the national emblem on the roof of the new Parliament building. Officials have said that the bronze symbol weighs 9,500 kg and has a height of 6.5 meters. He said it has already been built on the top of the new Parliament building and a steel structure of about 6,500 kg has been constructed around it to support the symbol. In the latest development, TMC launched a fresh attack at centre government over the new parliament and Ashoka stambh.
