Robert Caro recalls his interviews with Robert Moses, the master city builder, who changed New York City. Caro touches on Moses's philosophy, working methods, temperament, and genius. He also discusses the pivotal chapter "One Mile" from his biography "The Power Broker," in which he reveals the impact of Moses's Cross Bronx Expressway project on the residents there.
