In a brewing controversy, Andhra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu Naidu has accused the previous YSRCP government of using substandard ingredients and animal fat in the making of the revered Tirupati laddu, a sacred offering from the Sri Venkateswara temple. Naidu made the allegation during a meeting of NDA legislators, stating, “Even Tirumala laddu was made with substandard ingredients...they used animal fat instead of ghee.”
