Stage 2 of my Camp Nanowrimo prep - reviewing my plot using Story Engineering by Larry Brooks, the Storyclock workbook by Plot Devices, and the Story Grid blog by Shawn Coyne and Rachelle Ramirez!
The plan is to map out the current plot of my book onto one Story Clock, and then use the second one to map out an 'ideal' plot - one where all of the Story Engineering beats are in the right place, and that doesn't skip any of Story Grid's obligatory scenes. Simple! 😅

- What's your revision process like? Do you do prep work, like re-outlining your book or looking at your characters first, or do you just start rewriting?
- Do you think I'm trying to twist what I already have to make it work, or does it actually work?
