Such an unexpected result of this stem & root cutting. I am always amazed at the want & the will of our orchids to survive! THEY ARE SURVIVORS!

Please note that our orchids will do exactly what they want to do and it is not guaranteed that this type of propagation will always work...but if you were planning on cutting back a vanda anyways for maintenance purpose, then it is definitely worth a shot!

How I make my Aloe Vera Water Supplement:
I have medium size aloe vera and normally will use 3-5 leaves for either a half a gallon or a full gallon of water. I will use the whole aloe leaf and some water in a blender and then I will use a filter cloth over a pitcher and filter the pulp out and add more water. You can use it at that dose to water your plants or you can use it in a weaker dose. I water my entire garden & orchids with it by putting it into my fertilizer sprayer that attaches to the hose and set it at 1 tsp to gallon. I water my orchids on a regular with this solution so I prefer a weaker dose. I have noticed a a definite difference in plants and orchids using natural homemade fertilizers and supplements and I have really been enjoying the benefits.
