A Harford County school was placed on a brief modified lockdown Monday after a bear was seen near campus. Administrators at Fallston High School kept students and staff inside the building for a time, district officials told 11 News. Dismissal proceeded as scheduled, with school resource officers and staff members ensuring the safety of students as they boarded their school buses. Students waiting to be picked up were kept inside the building until their ride arrived.
