It's mid-November and temperatures are dropping - but so is the water level of the River Thames! After a particularly wet October, conditions are finally looking ideal for plenty of bites on the float and feeder. So I head to a brand new stretch of the UK's longest waterway, where Neil Wayte, lifelong specimen hunter and Thames specialist, has got me membership of a brand new (for me) angling club.
We even enjoyed a friendly match on his favourite venue, with me representing the north and match fishing, while Neil was the southern specimen angler.
