I love Paul Di'Anno era Iron Maiden. My favourite Iron Maiden album is the debut released in 1980. The follow up album Killers is not far behind. The production on Killers is much better and this is also the first album to feature Adrian Smith. The classic Iron Maiden lineup would be cemented with the introduction of Bruce Dickinson on the breakthrough album Number of the Beast released a year later. I love how records are able to catch these brief Moments in Time. The early 80's was such a fertile environment for everything Rock and Heavy Metal.
The two guitar solos are classic Maiden. Dave's solo is the first followed by Adrian. Dave's solo is a little more Ritchie Blackmore Neo classical inspired while Adrian's solo is pure Hardrock/blues. I struggled to figure out if Dave was using a wah pedal. A lot of times guitar players will throw on the wah as a static filter as opposed to the rhythmic "Wah Wah" effect. That would explain the more filtered out neck pickup sound 7 bars into the solo. I decided to not use the wah and just flick the pickup selector instead. The harmony section at the end of Adrian's solo is inlaced in the downloads
