The lemon butter sauce pairs very nicely with seafood shrimp or chicken. The acidity of it works nicely with a fish fillet or with grilled shrimp. Also you can use it with chicken and make a really nice flavorful chicken piccata dish. It's a very simple sauce to make and this is how you do it. We're going to start in our saute pan on a high heat and add about a quarter cup of fresh squeezed lemon juice. Then we'll add about a half a teaspoon of chopped shallot and a pinch of salt and reduce our lemon juice down to about half. Once it's reduced we're going to slowly incorporate our butter into our lemon juice reduction.
