Hi everyone 🤍 Join us as we make our own watercolors from scratch using Nature Earth Paint pigments. I’ve wanted to do this for so long and finally got around to it. Now my daughter can enjoy some quality watercolor paints that are completely toxic free. If you’ve been wanting to try this, this is your sign.

Here is the recipe we used:

- 6 tbsp hot water
- 3 tbsp gum arabic powder
- 2 tbsp honey
- a few drops of clove essential oil

- mix the hot water and the gum arabic powder thoroughly (clumps will form, make sure you break them down)
- mix in the honey
- add the clove essential oil and mix again
- store in an airtight container in the fridge until use

- mix 1:1 ratio of watercolor medium and pigment
- some pigments might need a little more or less
- let fully dry for 3 days before use
