The investigation headed by the Netherlands into the 2014 downing of Malaysia Airlines flight MH-17 has found evidence that strongly connects the Russian leadership to Ukrainian separatist fighters in the east.
They are blamed for shooting down the plane using a Russian-made missile.
But Russia denies any culpability in the plane's downing and has thrown doubt on the recordings.
Investigators released phone call recordings they say are between separatist fighters and high-ranking Russian officials in the weeks leading up to the attack.
