Ingredients:
RAGI FLOUR / FINGER MILLET FLOUR – 1 CUP
WHEAT FLOUR – 1 CUP
CINNAMON POWDER – ½ TSP
CARDAMOM POWDER – 3/4TH TSP
BAKING POWDER – 3/4TH TSP
PINCH OF SALT
JAGGERY POWDER – 3/4TH CUP (You can also use brown Sugar)
BUTTER – ½ CUP (Room Temperature) Unsalted
MILK – 4 TBSP (use milk as per required to prepare soft dough)
ALMONDS – 2 TBSP (CHOPPED)
There are thousands of cookies Recipes out there but today I have shared a detailed video recipe of a unique cookie that is made with Ragi & Jaggery. The best part of this recipe is you can also bake these cookies without Oven In Kadai Or Cooker.
Note:
1. When you prepare a cookie dough always make sure you don’t knead them.
2. Always Rest the cookie dough in refrigerator for at least 10 minutes this helps the cookie to keep its texture intact.
3. Preheat the kadai for at least 15 minutes on medium High Flame.
4. Arrange the cookie dough 1 inch apart on the plate.
5. Place a stand before you place the cookie Tray/ plate this stand ensures the heat wont directly get to the cookie tray.
6. Baking time differs based on the heat & the shape of the cookies.
7. Cookies will be soft when they come out & will deflate as they cool which takes around 5 to 10 minutes.
