In this travel video from Soctra, Yemen, you get to follow along during our first day of adventures on the island. We start the day by waking up on the Di Hamri beach. We then start driving and stop off at a place to check out the famous Bottle Trees. This spiecies of tree is endemic to the island. We also stop off at a Wadi which we hiked down to for a swim and to enjoy our lunch. The drive then continued to the sand dune area where we set up camp for the night at Ahrer beach.
