A speedrun of the Panel de Pon portion of the Nintendo Puzzle Collection compilation that was only released in Japan.
The previous record was 24:41 in Japanese timing (they start timing later than we do; about 24:50 in our timing), meaning this record was improved by over 4 1/2 minutes. I also bopped Japan in the process, which is always nice.
I would like to believe that I could get 16:XX at some point, but this AI is much harder to exploit than in Pokemon Puzzle League so there's more RNG involved. I only ran this for a week and a half, but I think I want to give this a rest for the time being.
FWIW, the sum of game times is 14:34, except an ingame second in this game lasts for 70 frames despite this game running at 60 fps. The true game time is somewhere around 16:59.
