(24 Jun 1963) "Suki", the tiger cub prematurely born at the London Zoo in April, is growing up fast, thanks to the staff at the Zoo. Baby "Dan", the Orang-Utan, arrived unexpectedly on the 12th June. He's only the second of these apes to be born at the Zoo. At Whipsnade, Belinda, the African hippo, was proudly taking her baby for its first outing. (No-one yet knows if it's a boy or a girl!)
