A case has been registered against Yati Narsinghanand Saraswati, head of the Dasna Devi temple in UP's Ghaziabad, for making controversial remarks against Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. The case was registered under Sections 153A and 505 of the IPC at the Masuri police station in Ghaziabad district on Thursday, in connection with the remarks made by the religious leader on July 13. As per the FIR, a two-minute video of Mahant Yati Narsinghananad Saraswati had gone viral in which he could be heard saying that “Mahatma Gandhi was responsible for the murder of one crore Hindus” and other things.
