The Andhra Pradesh government has decided to move the Supreme Court following the High Court's decision of continuing Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar as State Election Commissioner. This was revealed by YCP MLA Ambati Rambabu. He said that justice cannot be served in the courts in each case, there is the possibility of a move to the upper court. We are in consultation with the legal experts regarding the case. Once again Ambati Rambabu was embarrassed about the affair. He questioned whether it was reasonable to write a lemonade letter opposing the distribution of alcohol and money. Such letters would be harmful to the spirit of democracy.
Ambati Rambabu said that the government has brought the ordinance democratically and constitutionally and removed Nimmagadda Ramesh. "We will appeal to the above court, after getting the order copy," he said. Ambati Rambabu said they know what the powers government has and what powers do rest of the systems has. Ambati asserted that all systems will fall within the constitution and should work accordingly
High Court on Friday has delivered a sensational verdict on former State Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar's case. The court has found fault over his removal and directed the government to continue him as the state election commissioner. It is known that the government has removed him from the post following his unilateral decision of postponing the local body elections. However, the High Court dismissed the ordinance brought on by the government over his removal.
