This egg pattern has replaced glo bugs for me. I've had problems with poor hook penetration leading to lost fish with glo bugs. Their bushy yarn also catches a lot of water leading to slow sink rates and extra effort to lift them out of the water to make back casts. The Flybox UK Eggstacy chenille tied with a tungsten bead behind the yarn has solved these issues and caught a lot of fish for me this fall and winter. Even better still, it's incredibly easy to tie.
