We were excited to get our hands on the brand new Hydros Reel from Orvis. Orvis found a way to make this reel lighter and cheaper. They've reworked certain features and provided more usability in a paired-down package that'll be perfect for trout fishing and light saltwater applications. We're talking, of course, about a refined, lightweight large arbor design, an improved fully-sealed drag clutch bearing, radiused reel foot, ergonomically improved drag knob and reel handle, and much more.
