To the Swedes, this machine was simply known as the Facit Privat. In the United States, for marketing reasons long lost to time, it was designated the TP2. By any name these machines, properly set up, are formidable portable typewriters -- easily the equal, in my view, to the Olympia SM9 and Hermes 3000. I own all three iterations of this machine -- the TP1, TP2 and 1620 -- and they're all simply magnificent.
