At a press conference in Winnipeg, Dr. Joss Reimer, the province’s medical lead for COVID-19 immunization, and Johanu Botha, Manitoba’s assistant deputy manager of emergency management, provide an update on COVID-19 vaccine distribution. They confirm that the province will extend the delay between the administration of the first and second doses of the vaccine, in order to immunize more people sooner.
