The Founders Brewing Company is one of the highest-rated breweries in the world. Their limited-release Imperial IPA that was aged in oak bourbon barrels was very hard for us to track down. However, after a city-wide manhunt, we landed two bottles that cost us $14.99 each. Would this beer be worth the effort and cost? The blind taste test is always a great way to find out!

Partial Transcript: "On tap -- Doom
Hi. I'm James Knott and today we are drinking a limited release beer that has a lot of buzz -- Doom from the Founders Brewing Company in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
A special thanks to BBA founder Scott Blickhan who drove all over Columbus, Ohio trying to track this beer down for us. He is a fanatic folks.
Doom is actually their Double Trouble Imperial India Pale Ale aged in Bourbon Barrels for four months. It is 10 percent ABV and has a suggested retail price of $12.99 for a 750 ml bottle. Our bottles actually cost $14.99 and the stores in Columbus were sold out in a matter of hours. It's a hard one to find.
It was originally known as "Hand of Doom" when it was released in their tap room. The 2013 limited release batch is the 6th iteration of the beer and was released on April 22nd. We are tasting it one week later on April 29th.
Let the blind taste test begin."
