Location of Furoman Hill near Rangamati town. In the Chakma language Furomon means Furious mind. When you reach the top of this mountain, you will be blown away by its natural beauty, hence the name of the mountain is Furoman. The height of the mountain is about 2,600 feet above sea level or 1,518 feet above ground level. The whole road is dangerous hill bends, steep hills.
There are two ways or roads to reach the top of Furomon hill, one is from the southern side of the hill or Manikchari-Khagrachari road where you can climb up to the top of about 400 steps steep paved stairs to reach the Furomon Buddhist temple and a sea solitude. The other is from the eastern side of the hill or Chittagong-Rangamati. From the road, we took the second route aiming first at the Helipad followed by Furomon Buddhist Temple and Furomon Rajvan Vihar.
