Delhi University Admissions Update
The University of Delhi on Tuesday assigned more than 11,650 seats for undergraduate programmes in the third admission round. The second round of admission saw a total of 64,288 students securing their spots, with 34,642 of them finalising their seats.
In total, 28,889 students opted for upgradation, out of which, 6,104 candidates got their upgraded choice, says Delhi University (DU) Dean of Admission, Haneet Gandhi.
“In the third round, we have allocated 11,656 seats across the university. The third round will conclude on August 27. The University may announce more rounds subject to the availability of vacant seats,” ANI quoted Gandhi as saying.
Within the DU colleges, a total of 71,000 seats are available. These seats for undergraduate programs are being distributed through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS)-UG-2023.
