DMK Chief M Karunanidhi cast his vote at a polling booth in Gopalapuram in Chennai.
Addressing the media he said:
"We will win enough number of seats, our winning prospects are bright."
Commenting on the EC’s decision to delay the polls in two constituencies in the state–Aravukrichi and Thanjavur following complaints of voters being bribed, Karunanidhi said:
"Money distribution has been curbed to a level, but there are incidents of cash transfer through trucks. People will have questions in their mind if the Election Commission will initiate action against them."
