ROB AND JAMES TRIP TO THE RIVER EBRO IN SPAIN WITH CATFISHINGCASPE
James and Rob started the week off in a flooded swim. The water was up to our waists with all work weighing being carried out in the water. This did not stop the lads of the fish and Pb’s were soon being broken repeatedly. The lads wanted Carp more than Wels Catfish and the first few days were to be disappointed as the Carp were hammering natural baits in the flooded margins. However the last two days the carp turned up in force and Pb’s were again smashed. They caught Carp up to 39lbs and Wels Catfish up to 148lbs All in all a successful trip with some fantastic fish caught. 43 fish caught in total with a lot of carp over the 30lb mark and many cats over the 60 lbs mark.
