This is a British documentary series from 1987 made for Thames TV. This was remastered by me into 4K.
Along with Charlie Chaplin and Harold Lloyd, Keaton was one of the most successful comedians of the silent film era. Because of his deliberately serious, stoic expression, he has been nicknamed "The Great Stoneface" and "The Man Who Never Laughed". Another trademark was his porkpie hat, a round, flat hat made of felt.
