The government plans to spend 7.5 billion shillings to set up County industrial parks in fifteen Counties. The move s aimed at creating employment and reducing post-harvest losses. Trade Cabinet secretary Moses Kuria says the national government will contribute 250 million shillings with targeted Counties marching the difference. Construction of the Parks will be done in two phases with the first expected to start in July this year.
