Following up with contacts after business events and conferences goes beyond follow up emails. [ Ссылка ]
Brighton West speaks with Deborah Hoffman from Power-Up Your Follow Up at the eWomen Network Conference in Dallas.
Hoffman offers networking advice for maintaining contacts after business events. The best thing to do is to schedule an appointment with the contact during your initial meeting in order to avoid having to follow up. If you need to reach out to a business contact again, call instead of sending a follow up email. Hoffman recommends reminding the contact who you are, reiterating what you spoke about at the business event, and explaining how you can support one another in business. This is the best way to form beneficial business relationships through networking.
