Celeste Manno, a 23-year-old call center worker in Melbourne, escorted fired employee Luay Nader Sako out of the office. He became obsessed with her, sending harassing social media messages, including a disturbing threat. Despite Celeste reporting him to the police, they took no action. In November 2020, Luay broke into her home and killed her with 23 stab wounds. He was sentenced to 36 years in prison with the possibility of parole after 30 years.
