In an election year, Dr. Subramanian discussed the economic outlook for India’s 5th largest economy. At a time of global headwinds, Dr. Subramanian explains just why India’s economy has bucked the trend and growing at near 7-8%.
He touched on his time as CEA and the policies implemented during COVID-19 and discussed India’s post-pandemic economic recovery.
Dr. Subramanian gives his prediction for India’s economy in 2047, the centenary year of independence, and what he calls the "three main sources" for growth in India.
