Do you struggle with foot drop? Do you have trouble performing exercises for foot drop?
The problem with most foot drop exercises is that they require you to lift your foot unassisted. When living with Foot Drop - you probably can't do that very well!
So, to help you reduce your foot drop we want to guide you through the steadypace® assisted dorsi flexion.
In this exercise you can use a band or towel to lift your foot up - once it's their hold it for 4 seconds and slowly lower your foot down for 10 seconds.
This ECCENTRIC exercise will help you strengthen the muscles around your foot so that you can improve your dorsi flexion and gain better mobility and control over your foot drop!
Perform this exercise 2-3 times per week and write down your results using a progress journal.
Remember to simply give your best effort!
