A trip to Guatapé would not be complete without visiting the massive rock, also known as El Peñon de Guatapé (Rock of Guatapé) or La Piedra de El Peñol (Stone of El Peñol). In this video, I take a quick 10 minute ride from the Guatapé town center via a Tuk Tuk and embark on the journey climbing the massive rock. These Tuk Tuks can be found all over Guatapé and the cost is about $6,000-10,000 pesos for the short journey to El Peñon.

The cost to climb the rock (as of January 2021) was $20,000 Colombian pesos (appx. $5.60 USD).
