Are the new Grand Central Station and Europa Bus Station miles apart?
Not at all!
Despite what some might think, these two hubs are very close to each other. In this video, we'll show you just how short the walk is between them, even with the current roadworks in place!
Right now, footpaths and parts of the road are closed due to construction, so the route might look longer than it actually is. But once the bridge is removed and the brand-new road layout is completed, it'll be a quick and easy stroll from Glengall Street to the Grand Central entrance. And if you prefer, there's another entrance just around the corner on Grosvenor Road! We will show you both.
For those of you wondering about the time it takes to walk, we timed it!
Most people, without any mobility concerns, can make the walk in about 3-4 minutes most of that is waiting to cross at traffic lights.
Even today, Joseph, who has disabilities and took it slow with a few breaks, managed it in just 5 minutes!
So, no need to worry – Grand Central Station is closer to Europa Bus Station than you might think. Watch our walkthrough to see for yourself!
