Reliving The War takes a look at the entire WWF vs WCW Monday Night War. With WWF Raw is War and WCW Monday Nitro airing at the same time every week, the two shows got caught-up in a battle for TV ratings every Monday Night. Fans tuned into WCW to see the likes of Sting, the nWo, Bill Goldberg and the cruiserweights while WWF fans would witness the company evolve with the Attitude Era. Reliving The War aims to look at every single episode of Raw and Nitro and work out which show was really the best on a weekly basis.
WCW are days away from their Slamboree 1998 PPV and a BIG revelation on this week's show results in a lot of intrigue getting added to the main event. Elsewhere, Macho Man Randy Savage says he's coming after Bret Hart at the PPV but on Monday Nitro he wants another shot at Hollywood Hogan's World Championship.
On the WWF channel Vince McMahon announces the number 1 contender for Steve Austin's WWF Championship. D-Generation X are in Atlanta; continuing their mission to bring down WCW, and Sable finally steps inside the ropes with Marvelous Marc Mero.
