Using this Viking gas grill as an example this video shows three different ways to access, remove and replace gas orifices for control valves. Orifices are replaced to convert a barbecue to natural gas or convert to propane but may also be changed to adjust grilling performance.

Here we're using a Viking gas bbq for these examples but we are showing how to get to and replace the orifices 3 different ways in order to make sure at least one example applies to your barbecue.

Changing the control valve orifices is not the same as converting the grill fuel type to NG or LP and must always be done with the regulator pressure considered. Changing the orifices is just one step in a fuel conversion but many barbecue models make access difficult.
Here we explain 3 ways of getting at the control valve orifice in this Viking BBQ but these same examples will also apply to other barbecue grill models.
