During Episode 13 of our What We Watch When We Drink podcast, we were guided through a tasting of the component parts of The Black Tot Finest Caribbean Rum by Mitch Wilson and Dawn Davies. It was a delicious and hilarious journey that taught us to appreciate how good an expertly crafted rum can be.
The first stop on our journey was to Barbados and the Foursquare distillery. We were so impressed with this spirit that we just had to buy a bottle so that we could explore it further. The bottle we chose was distilled in 2008 and clocks in at a walloping 60% ABV.
Here's what the Foursquare Distillery has to say about it:
Single Blended Rum, Aged for 12 years in a combination of first, second, and third fill Ex-Bourbon barrels, bottled at 60% ABV. No Color. No Sugar. No Additives. No Filtration.
